The Forest - Themes of the Week

The forest can be a beautiful and sometimes mysterious place depending on where in the forest you are and what time you are there. It’s no wonder so many movies have vivid scenes in the forest as the general tranquility, beauty and mysteriousness make for some interesting compositions. This week, we take a look at the many forest-inspired browser themes that were created by fans and published to our theme gallery.

As you can imagine, most artists chose to showcase the light of either the sunrise or sunset coming through the forest trees and foliage. Some chose to display animals and insects of the forest with more colorful themes including a “fireflies in the forest” theme with hints of illuminating light sparkled about the theme. And of course the seasons can inspire interesting designs, as the winter forest scene is more sparse with darker colors and summer/spring themes with more color and fuller healthy green foliage.
