Buckeye Basketball Winner!
The Ohio State Buckeyes tipped off this year’s basketball tournament season by giving away a Thad Matta signed basketball to one lucky user of the official Buckeye browser theme. While the field was more crowded than 68 teams, we still emerged with one winner and Martin (Sonny) Mendes was the Buckeye fan who took home the prize!
“I received the basketball today and I am thrilled to get it. I enjoy the theme toolbar because I have instant access to all the OSU stories while it is always displayed on my Browser. Thanks again and GO BUCKEYES!,” Mendes said.
The Buckeyes Athletics department ran the contest as a reward to the loyal users of its browser theme. A button appeared in user’s themes for approximately two weeks in March, presenting the opportunity to enter to win the Thad Matta autographed basketball. Fans who clicked on the button filled out a short entry form for their chance to win.
